Umm, how can you change the angle of the doodad, because I want a model to be sideways, like for example have a rock sticking out of the side of a cliff, how would i do that? Or have like a Temple Wall piece be sideways, how do you do that? Thank you in advance.
hmm, i don't think we are able to rotate doodads the way you are thinking, i believe you want to be able to rotate a vertical item so it becomes horizontal? pretty sure we are limited to the existing rotation at the moment, though full 3d rotation would be awesome.
Yeah, that's what I mean, because I was wondering if you could turn the Xel'naga Halo horizontal so it spins sideways, if you get what I'm trying to say.
i would love the ability to rotate in 3D, making vertical pipe stacks, adding metal plates to walls.. so many ideas that need that rotation, might be worth hitting up the art people, they may be able to make a horizontal version for you to use.
i thought that you could just adjust the z-axis in the data editor? I am not 100% sure you can, but it wouldn't hurt to try. Just go to the model or actor file and change it there if it's possible.

I want everything in 3d.
It was possible to tilt doodads during the beginning of the beta, but one of the patches broke it.
It still works for units though, so make a unit with the model you'd like to tilt and assign the actor Explicit Rotation to the unit's actor.
In the long run it'd be better to complain on the battle net forums until Blizzard fixes it, making a new model for every single rotation is insane.
