This week's patched introduced the pitch and roll functions to the editor, allowing terrainers worldwide to flip their doodads in any direction they could possibly want. This technique opens up a new continent of possibilities: houses made out of tables, tables made out of houses, or even houses made out of tables made out of houses. To allow people to show off some of these possibilities, this week's theme is going to be "Pitch and Roll". The requirements are simple: your map must include at least one well-visible doodad of which the pitch and roll have been altered.
For those who don't know: the hotkeys for these processes are by default Shift+Alt+Mouse and Control+Alt+Mouse.
Houses made out of tables, tables made out of houses, or even houses made out of tables made out of houses.
Quite funny. Let's see what I can come with... ummm... space, low gravity, interior, exterior, forest, strange thing... um what to do... I think I got an idea... hoping it's not too much of a headache...
Ok, did a fast one just made of bridges. Most likely the first try with those new features. I've "discovered" that moving the camera is a pain when using those pitch and roll, to get a good angle... and I've started to confuse my hotkeys as using those xD. I guess this is what happend when you use multiple kind of actions for 3 keys with different combinaisons.
I wanted at first to make multiple tracks in all directions, but when I saw how funky it is to make only one... I had a hotwheel poster in mind but it's far from what I made. Just imagine something like this:
Ended up like... "Are we really gonna pass on "that" road?"
Congratulations on your first WTE ZeSnmutt :) I like the suit.
Now here is mine, Space Battery Zion, a devastating anti cruiser satellite cannon with two massive batteries on it's sides for the rounds, and a massive Ion cannon.
The Electric thing is called "Hybrid Power Conduit" and the doodads that make the circles are called "THorner05S Zerg Pens Door 1" I love using the pens door for circles, or rings.
Challenge accepted!!!, I shall make a battle! I just took my final test for my summer class and I got a week or two to burn :) Will give me an opportunity to touch up the details on the satellite.
Hahaha... Before posting, check every points like I did for commenting the pictures... and why not make a short clip like I do sometimes? You know how to use triggers and cameras? =P This will be a little more challenging =P
Seeing all the other submissions you've made, you can do that and get some epic results, I'm sure of it.
Weekly Terraining Exercise #136
Hello folks!
Good luck, and have fun!

Working on projects:
Aw, I was kinda hoping this one would be called 'Do a Barrel Roll!'

Sorry for the mess...

Hah, that's funny. It reminds me of that Mario Cart track, Rainbow Road.
Hey, first WTE.
The Dominion seems to have some nice suits for their hybrids. Mengsk's engineers must try to compensate something...
Made in about 1 hour. I had been kidnapped to play Magicka...
I shotgun escher's relativity.
Congratulations on your first WTE ZeSnmutt :) I like the suit.

I'll be leaving early tomorrow morning and probably won't have internet access for a few months - so I had to rush this one out half-finished.
After the discussion a few weeks ago about trying to mix lava and snow effectively, I figured I'd give it a shot. And here it is.

Oh YEAH! Rainbow road! That race is epic.

Well done!

Epic. I like the Tarsonis building mixed with the electric thing I don't remember the name... What are the doodads in circle?
@Telthalion: Go
Looks pretty cool, alot of small details for that terran building.

What is this? Tableception? ;)
Male : Oh no! Where is my car?
Female : Look over there.... That's what happen when you don't pay the parking!
Some crappily made stuff that despite being crap took 2 hours
Another one, "The Battle for Battery Zion"

Well that's nice. And it only took them 3 years, classic Blizzard speed.
