I have been looking on the editor but my knowledge is limited I will like to make the change to this lava "char 2" to this color and also please explain in DATA not triggers. Thank you in advance.
Not sure if I completely understand what you want to do, but you can go to Terrain, then to Water and click on "Char2". At the very bottom of the pane you will see "Edit Water" - that is where you can make some changes to its look.
If the lava type isn't very responsive in the editor, you can change its type to Water and the color changes will be much more immediate and apparent.
I think it's possibly by extracting the lava texture, changing colour, and re-importing it. That's the only way I know of. I did it by turning the lava into a doodad and tinting it, but it looks like that method no longer works.
got to....
1-Actors
2-find one like that has one variation "castanar power generator"
3-(basic)Art Model
4-Default Lava
5-start playing with custom colors
6-HDR Multiplier keep on "3"

There were some custom colored lava floating around (yellow, blue, green, and one more), but I can't remember where they were. Try googling them.

Is there any particular reason why it doesn't work? The lava plane model is still in the editor.
thank you guys for trying to find a solution for this lava color

you could try using a customized texture perhaps?
I once tried to change lava using the edit water button as well, but it never changed to anything but different variations of red.

I tried to replicate it, but for some reason was unable to. I also opened up one of my old maps, and it had turned invisible.
So yeah. Perhaps the model name changed.
