Editor decided to crash on me, destroying alot of what i improved on this terrain.

I haven't done these in a long time. I'll whip something up by sunday, if a cool idea comes to me. I really like the the lava/underground bridge. The Halo idea is really cool, Sheo. I can't wait to see what it turns into as you keep adding to it.

I think the Halo terrain looks are so cool they could make for a sweet WTE, actually.

I really wouldnt mind, though I use tiny doodads for my map so I would probably have to blow up most of what I have done to scale to the unit's size as I have started experimenting with making use of the 256x256 map and scaling down units to make the entire map look bigger and give me more space to work with.

Also the theme I went with on this bridge was sort of an abstract thing. The absence of builders will let your mind wonder "What happened to them?" as the title is "The Bridge Unscathed" where as it could be still intact and under construction but untouched by the raging war around it =P

Time to start a Terran colony in the plains of Xil :D

I like that as well, but it's a little over the top of what I meant =P. I was talking more about some smaller completed segments and a couple of civilian 'builders'. Do you still have that first version? I'd love to try making that playable.

On another note, I've been thinking of starting somewhat of a side-project of the WTE, in order to make all of this a little bit more known. Would you guys mind if I asked you for some of these terrains and turned them into very small playable maps? Really simple stuff like making them walkable and turning them into tiny RPG's where you take raynor and some marines through the terrain. That would really show off what you guys are capable off. Let me know your thoughts.

Actually, to expand on this, I've been secretly lurking around looking for maps I could potentially convert/add into for 256x256 playable maps for (mostly) Build and Destroy. Most entries don't get posted as actual maps, though, and I've had little time to go through the ones that have been. This would be for a private campaign project, so I'll understand if most people are uncomfortable with their terrain being used in someone else's project (and I really have no idea how much work it would be for me to turn some of these into playable maps, but many of them would most certainly have some kind of use).

Since I have many, many maps to build, and I'm not exactly good at terrain, I've been long looking for potential resources to ease some of that workload.

I look forward to seeing what you can do with them, Mozared.
