Here's the pre-rendered movie, if no one wants to download the file:
With Galaxy Editor coming out, I've taken on to continue what interested me the most in World Editor - terrain design. I must add, that terrain construction is much more simplified and user-friendly now, adds a lot more variability and easiness of use that is featured in such context, that even the new-comers should not find any of their ideas impossible to come alive. For the same reason, sculpting with Galaxy Editor is so much more open to various ideas than previous Blizzard Editor software has allowed.
So my idea was - to turn a non-living rock, which sits in the middle of lava pond into a grotesque offspring of underground seismic activities that not only bring more magma from the deeps, but also catch some of the Vespene Gasses that Terrans might use. You can well see pumps, vents and support columns. Of course, pulsing lava had to maintained, so a few "extra" openings were done at the back of the rock.
I especially concentrated on maintaining a proper Lightning level that would suit the environment, so extensive editing was done at that front.

It looks like my two-core processor can actually handle FRAPs by itself, so I've rendered it on my own. Yet still thanks for the helping-hand of HP-X|Arthas.
Really nice work mono. That looks awesome! I guess I could try doing a video later tonight unless someone else gets it done first. But I have no idea what kind of computer is required for recording. :p

You rig is surely over-the-top even for such recording to be made. I would suggest setting SC2.exe Affinity to Core0 while leaving the recording software to use Core1, Core2 and Core3, for maximum stability. StarCraft 2 should handle itself well with only one core active for him as this map isn't CPU-intensive. Just be sure to revert changes after you finish recording.
great stuff man. how is this kind of stuff possible? ive been messing around with the editor and i am completely noob, but i would love to try some cinematics.

[HELP WANTED] (Not anymore)
It looks like my two-core processor can actually handle FRAPs by itself, so I've rendered it on my own. Yet still thanks for the helping-hand of HP-X|Arthas.
This looks really impressive. I didn't even know we could do such things with the editor.
About the computer thingy ... I can't even fraps on low quality without lagging so it's without me :(

Thanks still goes out to HP-X|Arthas.
