I am trying to make it so when "-store" is typed, the unit currently selected will be stored in a variable, and if "-create" is typed, another copy of that unit will be made. I can get the chat message and where to spawn the unit, I just don't know what to store in the variable.

Thank you so much! Worked like a charm. I just copied the triggers, 1 for each player, and changed what player had to type the message, and gave each player their own variable. I even made a few that made 25 of the stored unit. (Just for kicks).

Don't know if this is exactly what you wanted, but here is a demo map.
Yeah, here's what I came up with quick(see my attachment). It'll be a little more complex if you want it to work for each player.
