so theres an annoying limit in the editor where the maximum life a unit can have is capped at 524287.
going over this results in the unit becoming invincible and can never be killed.
shields also have this same cap.
Im basically looking for a way to get above this limit.
If you really need to go above that and don't want to cut the other damage & hp values down (which may take longer for tweaking), you could make a trigger that adds health to the unit at certain points. SO, the building/unit gets to 50,000 hp, add X hp (or whatever). If it needs to do this multiple times -but a limited number of times- you could have it check against vespene if you aren't using that or create a variable that it checks against (each time it triggers it would add to a tally and if the variable = x, it won't trigger).
Another alternative would be to make a trigger or buff on the building / structure that cuts all incoming damage down by a percentage. Again, to make tweaking easier than modifying however many units you have.
Just a thought. ;) Hope this helps you create your unit with OVER 9,000^9,000

The maximum cap used to be 100,000, have they raised it since beta?
----
data editor only allows 100,000
but using triggers you can get to that 524287 mark

Cut all your damage and hp values down by the factor of 10 and suddenly you don't have troubles.. honestly 500k should be more than enough.

and thats basically what were going to have to do. but this limitation seems stupid and wasn't present in warcraft 3. so surely there is a to increase it?

in wc3 are also such limits!
normal max value: 500000
if you use shift while opening the field: 1000000000
I think if you exceeding that value whatever you making might be re-dunk-u-lace
@mavrck, lower the weapon damage to compensate for this limit. you have to re-balance the game though :8)
