Part of the guide is old so something doesn't seem to fit. It says to create a global variable but then I can't set that variable to the dialog I just created in the second step.
You can't really see the minimap in the second due to the fog of war, and hotkeys are disabled (damn you blizzard >:(). The first one isn't 100% custom UI, and it's been updated since then, but it updates whenever something changes.
Sorry to original poster. I didn't mean to barge in but I've also been looking for a UI tutorial.
I'm looking for completely gone UI and replace it, no mipmap needed, no portraits. I need a new UI to make my card game.

Curse Premiumdo you mean UI like the thing with all the buttons at the bottom of the screen? If you do, I cant help. Buuuuttt. If you mean the custom buttons and things all around the screen, than no problem. Those are called dialogs, and you create and manage them via triggers. here is a tutorial http://forums.sc2mapster.com/development/tutorials/1216-trigger-make-a-dialog-for-race-class-selection/
