I was wondering if there was a possibility of making terrain unpathable if the terrain height is too low (which will be covered by water ingame) and make terrain unpathable because it too steep (think of running up a hill that is too straight so you'll just glide down).
I want to make a game that includes spells that change the terrain (think of the game called Populous: The Beginning). I'm not experienced with the editor but I'll give it a try.
There is an add pathing tool that you can add exactly where you want it, or you can ise triggers to detect that the units are within a certain paramater I believe. No idea on triggers though.
I'd advise posting on the terrain dev forum (sc2mapster mod Mozzared comes to mind) to get help... i think the only "change" possible is to use terrain objects... with triggers you can make those appear or dissapear (like a blocked access get's unblocked)
good luck
