While uploading the map, I got an error: "Upload error: 7/9/2010 (9:02 AM, VALIDATION_WORKING_SET_SCORE_SCREEN_FAIL (D:\Users\Jeff\Appdata\Local\Temp\StarcraftIITemp\Publish/Lunar Special Forces v18.SC2Map\Icon64.tga)"
I'm having the same problem, I posted about it yesterday but havent gotten any responses. );
EDIT: My only guess is that Blizzard wants you to have an ending to your map (i.e. a score screen showing results at the end of the game) because most maps just boot you to the menu when you press the Score Screen button when they are over. Not sure how to implement it though.
It's some variant causing issues. This gave me a massive headache before as well. I can't get mine to publish using the variants I want, so now I'm just gonna publish with defaults and try to add mine in after. My map wont work at all with the default variants, but we'll just have to see.
I had a similar issue, but I found that spamming publish eventually results in a success, even when changing variants doesn't. This might not work for everyone though <3
I had the same thing in the first phase of beta test. Now i have a new computer, reinstall starcraft 2, and the same thing, I'm very angry :( . I've tried a lot of maps to publishing, made as written in the FAQ, but kept the same, OMG.
Hm, I read somewhere that this may be due to firewall, router, although I turned off the firewall and antivirus, now try to configure the router. I will write as soon do it.
Consider that Europe has only 1 custom map available (chesscraft) online soo I suppose we are not the only guys that have this kind of problem.
However in the meanwhile servers gone down, maybe with the next restart this will be fixed!
I am having no problems publishing my maps :o i have custom variants, my anti virus/fire wall is on, and no ports. :) I don't know what your problem is.

Any ideas what I can do to fix it?

@Southpaw444: Go
Same error.

Delete your Game Variants and it'll work.
I don't know any other bypass so far.

Yea it seems deleting game variants works, strange.
It's weird, I get errors on different files depending on how I set the game variant.
Edit: scratch that, I just get a different error every time even if I change nothing. That's weird.

removed the variants and it still doesn't get past 0%
I get this error in EU servers:
Connection to publishing service has been interrupted. Please try again (#PATH#)

What's the port that the map editor is using for map publishing?
Some answers here

I forwarded all ports including 6881-6999 in both TCP and UDP, nothing changed...
(My windows firewall is down)
I made this thread on blizz EU forum but I think it will be ignored as all the posts i make there
So, I'll ask someone to publish my map. If he will succeed, then the problem we have, not the blizzard.

Servers are up again but the map publishing is still bugged :(
Still down.
Honestly, this is quite frustrating.
