So I tell it to add the campaign dependency because I want to use the civilain/colonist models. So I do, and it seems to work fine, but a lot of stuff on the map that existed before I added the dependencies gets replaced with placeholders. Ok, so I save, restart the editor, load up the map, and everything is back to normal, except that now I can't access anything in the campaign dependencies... I go into the data editor, and tell it to only show stuff from the campaign dependency... it's empty... wtf???
I still have problems with it in some cases. If I added more than 1 dependency that it didn't start with, I can't put both of them at the top, so it seems one of them is doomed to not work. If you can get it to start with all but 1 dependency then add the other and stick it at the top it works fine (as far as I can tell) unless you have more than 3 dependencies, in which case one of them will be disabled.
You should only need to put the Liberty Story (Campaign) dependency on top. If that doesn't work, clear them all out, put them back in (w/ story on top), save, close editor, and go back in. Sounds like a cure for windows doesn't it!? hahaha
After more and more reading on this, apparently you just need the (Story) dep up top... none other is needed. This will, however, load the single player unit profiles rather than the multiplayer. I'm going to be toying around with just including the story dep and then having all the other deps (along w/ custom deps) in another mod which will be loaded as the second dependency.

This is an old problem.
Go to to your dependencies and move the Liberty Story (Campaign) to top.

Does that take into account custom dependencies (Mods)? I'll try it anyway and see how it goes.
