Is there anyway to scan one line of a Text type every loop and make it string so I can substring a certain format??
a Java example would look like this but with the trigger?
scan = new scan(Text("0 A"))
line = scan.nextLine();
number = line.substring(0,1);
class = line.substring(2,3);
there's only string to text I found as expected. No support for text to string? ;-\
got a kind of big file with a certain format I want to scan though and take out info one by one
I could not find any possibility yet to convert it, so the only possibility is just convert the text you want to use short time before from string to text then you can at least compare the strings... thats the way i am doing it.
Pisses me off, but by no means the worst part of the editor - the single most irritating aspect, IMO, is the inability to use records as parameters or return values. That one problem alone is going to (at least) double my development time.

This is a crippling flaw. I'm amazed that they would even release something like this without giving any way to delve down into a text value.
