EDIT: I'm am attempting to make my map playable for all Europeans. For some reason when people with French, Spanish, German etc. version of SC2 play my map all the dialogs screw up.

The weird thing is when we play other maps together such as The Card Game, it all works fine.

So how do you localize it for everyone, I tried the link/program in below post, it didn't help. Do you need to make folders for each language or something?

use this, it will copy all text from your locale to every other.

Thanks, I just tried that, didn't seem to make any difference for my friend.

I saved map, localized it, then updated/put on bnet.

Still all parameters/jibberish for Spanish players.

Maybe try opening your map with MPQeditor (its included with localizer) and remove all locales except the one you use? Game client will look for default values if no values in his language are available. Maybe you localized something or edited in spanish before and have some leftovers.

When I opened with MPQ, there is just enGB and enUS, nothing for spanish and german etc.?

Updated the main thread, having real trouble with this, frustrating as other maps seem to work fine.

You may have to set the options right in the program, for it to work properly. You need to select the proper locale source.

If that doesn't solve it, look for the problem elsewhere (at yourself, double check everything), as the localizer works just fine :)

want to confirm this. open the options and select your editor language.
