Is it possible to have a unit always face your mouse? Or do i need to use an incredibly complicated version of the snipe ability?
Also, is it possible to have the trigger editor find the position of your mouse without you clicking? I want to have a unit move in the direction of your mouse if W is pressed.
not possible via triggers, the only possible way is to cheat it using reference vars from an ability (like the sniper ability does) but that uses a site operator, so its not actully keeping track of cords...

Should be possible to do both, I will mess around in the triggers and see what I come up with.

I'm pretty sure what you are saying is that I have to use the snipe ability to get my unit to look at the mouse.
Is there any way to get the unit to move to the mouse without clicking?
Edit: just had an idea, if the unit is looking at the mouse could i just order it to move based on the angle its facing?
currently the only time that mouse coordinates are exposed to map triggers is during the click down and up events IIRC
