How to store newly created text tags? Like when I dynamically create units and add it to unit group for further use. Is it possible to do that with text tags? It seems there is only a variable and array of text tag with means I can't dynamically add new objects. Is the only solution an finite number of tags stored in array?
i've been pondering something similar to this. we could store these in a data table but then my trouble is how do i wipe out all the text tags without wiping out the entire table at once? troubling. plus there is also the annoyance of having to resolve a unique Text for each text tag instance. it can be done by position but then you have to form a string out of the position every time you want to use it, ANNOYING!
turns out there is no function to store a text tag in a data table, despite it being a variable type. so i'm at a loss too. displaying a permanent tag on multiple units is turning out to be quite difficult if the a moves around.
You need to use a custom script value to insert "lp_textTag" and "lp_integer".
can someone make this a little simpler. It looks good and would work, but I just do know what action to begin with to try and return an integer value, or anything else here.

Text tags are secretly just integers, but as far as I know you need to use a custom script to get the GUI to convert back and forth. Use these:
You need to use a custom script value to insert "lp_textTag" and "lp_integer".
So I need to store the integer values and then if I want to destroy specific tag I convert integer to tag? :?

Please? & Thank You!
Its just a simple function that takes a text tag and force it to return the same text tag parameter as an integer.
lp_textTag means the local parameter for Text Tag that you put in.
Same went for integer to text tag
