Okay so I am working on a custom map and I have created new units and a new race contained within a private (locked) mod. I made a map and used this mod as a dependacy. Every time I try and test the map my screen has a slightly dark fade to it (half visible) and I can not select anything. If anyone knows what is wrong can you please let me know?
The problems that dont send any error messages are the most frustrating ones. Try setting the debugger to on (will slow things down), it might have things to say on the matter. You can find settings for it in the Preferences.
The other strategy is the more tedious and nerve-wracking one: save copies of your mod and start removing pieces. Test it and see if anything became better. Then continue the process until you have nothing left. This is a last resort method. Keep looking for answers in forums etc.

I have the same issue except I had a backup in a different folder on the desktop and it affected the backup too.
Edit: Sorry my issue was unrelated to yours completely. Triggers work in funny ways.
@T0ssWarr1or: Go Might not be related to the mod or the new race at all.
@SoulFilcher: Go
When I remove the mod as a dependency the problem goes away. This happens every time I start working on a mod.
