Hello. I am working on a map where the AI and the user can only build particular units, i.e. vehicles. In addition I want to disable the ability to build barracks, Ghost academy, and engineering bay. How would I go about doing this? Thanks.
(Status of player (your User type players) = Playing (this is not really necesary but will condition our trigger not to work if there are not Active players)
Actions
Enable tech tree restrictions for player (your User type players)
From now you only have to set your Allow/Disallow Ability/Unit/Upgrade/Behavior/etc. for player (your User type players) for allowing/disallowing players to use determined type of units, abilities... (since every train ablity, if I remeber well, has its button to Restricted or Supressed, so now way of using it if tech tree restrictions are enabled unless you set the Allow/Disallow Action)
As I said you, the train abilities has the buttons as supressed or restricted so you only need to put on your trigger the units and abilities you want not to be supressed
How exactly was that rude? You don't need to get so butt hurt over him trying to be nice and explain what he meant since you clearly didn't understand it the first time.

You can add a this trigger:
Allowed Units
Thank you for the reply. I have the trigger, but where do I go to set particular units and structures to suppressed?

You didn't have to be rude in your reply. If you can't be nice don't reply to my posts.
