Got teamviewer? I was thinking I could probably walk you through it using it.
Edit: Just took a look, you forgot to add an initializer function to your custom script.
I'm trying to get the initializer running by importing your First Script, may need to make small changes.
Edit 2: Your debug trigger has no return statement, this is causing syntax error expected return value.
I ported your First_Script and changed the name to MapScript, seems to work fine so far.
Edit 3: Deleted the custom script in the trigger editor, you no longer need it if you are using an imported MapScript.galaxy. Whatever happens, since you are using a custom mapscript, do not do anything in the trigger editor. I suspect what that does is it regenerates the script and overwrites your custom one.
Attached working files and stuff that I changed.
First_Script renamed to xMapScript for easier renaming after import.
Well, the only problem I seem to have is that I can't seem to overwrite the MapScript file in the map :S
I import everything, and change First script to MapScript.galaxy and it disappears and then when I check the "reserved file" called MapScript, basically empty :( (It contains an empty InitMap function)

I noticed that's a little funky as well. After renaming the file and saving the map, it disappears, but when I check reserved, I somehow managed to get an InitMap function with Main() inside. Check my last post and download the attachments. It should be fixed again.
Its possible what might be happening is you tweaked something in the trigger window and when you saved, it regenerated MapScript, overwriting your custom one. I tested this and thats what happened when I tinkered with (F6)
Ok, I need to come clean with something :( I have downloaded SC2 since I currently don't have the money to buy the game, but I had an urge to beging coding with Galaxy, since it's much more similar to modern programming languages than Jass was from WC3. So the version of the Galaxy Editor I have is 1.0.0 (16117), what version is the latest one?
I ask this because I made the exact same changes to my map as you did before I downloaded your map, and it didn't work, and then I downloaded your map and it didn't work either :(
I won't discriminate, I know that feeling. I'm running 1.4.3 Build (21029). The reason I decided to buy the game is because I got tired of having to search for hacked versions of the game just to play with the map editor.
Version 1.0.0 has quite a lot of bugs If i remember right...
For map making, I would recommend to always use the latest patch. The patches include major changes to the editor, extensive bug fixes, added functionality etc etc. Just have a quick look at the changelogs, there are huge amounts of mapping-related changes. A major part of information given to you in this forum might not be true for the first version of the editor.
However, I am not aware of changes affecting the way an imported MapScript works. Still, the map FuzzYD made for you might simply not be compatible with version 1.0 of the editor anymore.
Yeah, and I use some weird way to crack it too, so it barely works :S Gotta go buy it soon XD
Ok, well then there might not be much you can do then, since it seemed to work for you so I'll just have to wait and buy it :D Is it worth buying you think?
If any1 of you played WC3, are there many custom maps like Hero Line Wars, or Arena Wars, och Tower Defence games?
Truth be told, quality maps are lacking IMO. I haven't seen many good ones to date, with the exception of Mafia, which I really respect DarkRevenant for. If you were to ask me, the entertainment value of playing with the editor makes it all worth it for me. On the occasion if I can find a custom map worth playing, I will. But right now it's mostly stuff that no longer interests me (Past the age)

In all seriousness, the custom map scene in WC3 was much better. There are a couple of custom games, which are played regularly, but it is way harder to just pick a custom map you like and play it, if it happens to be not at the top of the popularity list. The game is primarily focused on 1v1 and ladder games.
Still, SC2 is a decent game; the campaign is fun, 1v1 is not my thing, but well balanced and fun for many people and there indeed are some awesome custom maps, it is just quite hard to find and even harder to play them.

...like Hero Line Wars, or Arena Wars, och Tower Defence games?
In fact, I released a Hero Line Wars version for SC2; but in its current iteration, it is unplayable. There are some decent tower defense games, Element TD, Gem TD and other famous WC3 TDs got ported to SC2, sometimes by their original developers (EleTD), sometimes by fans (GemTD).
However, there is still much to come, WC3's custom map scene did not raise over night and there are still massive editor updates incoming, especially considering the 2 planned expansions.
Why dont you download an unmodified version of the game? IIRC you should be able to play around with the editor even if you dont have a valid license. You just cant upload the maps to Battle.net.
Then again, my memory might be inaccurate or Blizzard might have changed things.
I am pretty sure, you can even download a trial version of the game with access to parts of the campaign, some melee maps and some of Blizzard's own custom maps.

Nope, you need to validate your Bnet account within the editor from time to time, if you never start the actual game and connect to Bnet from there.
Ditto on this. I just don't have the passion or patience. I play 10 games I lose 9. It's infuriating. I'd do better if I coded a custom AI to spar with my opponents for me.
I mean I know I can't expect it to be up to the WC3 standard, since WC3 has been around for so long but I guess it's just a matter of time :D
I actually play quite a bit of Melee games now, vs AI and it's going quite well :D I have never been "good" at RTS games, not even WC3 in that manner, just the custom maps but since I like the melee maps, I might buy it soon then :D Maybe I'll see you on Battle.net soon then ;)
@ Kueken531: Gem TD is one of my favourite custom maps on WC3, have you played it alot? Or at all? :P
Is it almost like it was back in WC3?
Btw, have you played against the AI bots? How hard are they compared to some of your 1vs1 matches? Sorry to ask this many questions, but I'd just like to know some stuff :P
Oh, and also, do you know of any sites to buy a digital copy for a fair price? Since it's a digital copy, I should be able to purchase it from any country, right? :S
I'm from sweden, and the cheapest way to get SC2 with shipping included is like 45$, which isn't alot but I'll get it on monday XD
In older versions they were dumb, but now they are much smarter. I could easily cheese a version 1.0.0 bot, but now when I try it, I get my ass kicked. There is one dirty trick though, walling the AI out of their own base, lol.

Nice, congrats on getting your copy =) No idea where to get a digital copy though. Try blizzards EU website? Also, remember that copies are localized, so if you want to play on US servers, you will need a US key. I don't advise getting an SEA key like the one I have though, unless you want to publish some mega project. The custom map scene is so dead here its disappointing. Most people go to US Bnet to play. Easier to get a game started.

I played the WC3 version a lot, same with the SC2 version. It used to be almost a 100% remake, when I played it first, however for the newer versions the creator changed quite a couple of things. I don't know the exact changes, though, I didn't play the newer versions yet. This rises another problem, by the way: In Bnet 2.0, you cannot play older versions of maps at all. For maps, which changed drastically like this, this might be a huge issue.

I played against the bots, and they are quite capable of giving you a hard time. However, as in every game, bots are quite predictable and can be abused, if you study their behavior; also the biggest reason for them being strong opponents is, that they get additional resources. It is quite different compared to a normal 1on1. If you know how, you can beat them easily; if you don't, you cannot win at all.

Don't worry, this is a forum designed to answer questions ;)
Ok, well I'm always up for improvements when it comes to Gem TD :D
I've only played for like 3 days now, but I think I'm at the level of a Hard bot, in version 1.0 then ofc... Would that be good enough to have some fun at least on public games? Like I don't need to win but I won't be completely crushed XD
The matchmaking system is quite good; it will ensure, that, in the long run, you will win about 50% of your games. If you plan on playing some 1v1s, I recommend to play ladder games. You will get crushed sometimes, but you will crush sometimes as well. It might take some games for the system to adjust to your skill level, but if you enjoy playing 1v1, thats the way to go.
Just recieved the hard copy of SC2, and loving it :D Although as you said, the custom maps aren't nearly as developed as WC3 XD
( And I also can't find any Gem TD on EU servers :( )
Anyways, I STILL can't get this freaking map to work... -_- I'm now considering doing this in Custom Script triggers in the trigger editor instead, but then I'm not sure how to do stuff on Map Init :S
But the thing that I don't understand is, how did you get the "Main" function in your trigger to run? Since there's no trigger to make that trigger run, the other trigger shouldn't be created either :S
