It normally wouldn't bother me too much to simply lookup the "Param/Value/" and type the necessary string in, but when I test the map it actually displays the "Param/Value/" instead of the text it is linking to. I am very puzzled by this and I cannot figure out how to make "Some string" show up. Any ideas?
UIDisplayMessage takes a text argument, not a string. Use StringToText("some string") for literal text, use StringExternal for text if you need localization.
To avoid starting topics on these sorts of issues, it is strongly advised you extract natives.galaxy from /Mods/Core/Base.SC2Data mpq, TriggerLibs archive directory, or otherwise use an editor that includes the galaxy standard libraries.

Thanks for that. As for the mpq thing, I am afraid I cannot do that because I am on a Mac and none of the extractors seem to be capable of dealing with SC2 or D3 mpqs.
The problem with extracting directly from that is that it is the unpatched version, so any natives that might have been added won't be there. It would be saner to have a natives.galaxy pastebin somewhere. I wthink there is one?
I was looking at some of the older tutorials and I am having some major issues. When I try something like the following, I get an error.
However, if I do this instead, everything is fine:

Don't worry, I personally don't advise it... This forum exists here for a reason O.o
Alternately, one may use the editor Console, use command
browse
, enter.galaxy
in the search filter, and export the files manually.The problem with extracting directly from that is that it is the unpatched version, so any natives that might have been added won't be there. It would be saner to have a natives.galaxy pastebin somewhere. I wthink there is one?

One would expect you to extract the relevant files from the latest patch mpq.

I keep an (almost) updated copy of every .galaxy of the MPQ's here: https://github.com/midiway/Omni/tree/master/ScriptData/TriggerLibs
@midiway: Go
just updated it for the last patch
I have no particular problem with extracting them, but I can see why some others would. Thanks anyway.
