How do you reference a global array in a custom script window? Like "gv_variableName" is for regular variables, but what's arrays? I can't seem to figure it out. I'm sorry if there's an answer to this somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.
You can't dynamically assign / change an arrays length.
It either has to be a plain number or a constant. I don't think you can insert a constant in GUI though.. but in Galaxy (Custom Script) it works.

gv_variableName[ your array index ]
E.G:
Just as a reminder: In Galaxy array indexes start at 0. So...
...is also valid.
It would drive me crazy if the array index did NOT start at zero. =)
I had a text-book for Algorithms that had all the arrays start at 1 in all the sudo-code examples. It never stopped throwing me off.
Also if there is a nice way to define gv_MyRealArray.length then do tell. (maybe it overlooked something)
