If I use event: Dialog - Any Dialog Item is used by Player Any Player with event type Changed Text
and I change a edit box text
than it only fires when I hide/show the dialog.
Makes only the validator when the event occurs. When the user want confirm the value of the edit box the event will occurs and you show a small error message describing the problem and set the edit box value to the last value.

Thats what I dont really want as my edit box value would be limited by other stuff too, but I think I will use sliders instead...

For preventing lag problems, the event occurs only when the textfield loose the focus.
thats pretty bad, now how will I solve that people would only edit edit box with numbers.

And making a confirm button next to the edit box is no alternative? This would make them lose focus on the edit box and visibly confirm the number.
