Nope. I'm actually running it in virtualization on my Mac and it runs like a beast. I wouldn't know the difference between native and otherwise sometimes. I haven't had a single problem with unexpected crashes and whatnot.
I noticed That after longer period of time like few hours it goes crazy. Like melts down. Hard to describe, it's like graphic stop from being drawn, can't click much, modules are showing big black square etc.
(it noticed that usually when i have SC2 minimized at the same time)
It crashes a lot for very specific tasks. I am working a lot with event macros lately, and have discovered at least 3 independent crashes involving these :/
Now, thats unusual, I hardly get crashes on saving or testing. What exactly are you working on? Does it only happen for a specific map or in general?
Talking about unusual it crashes for me when I'm closing a map. Happens a lot for an edited version of Agria Valley I have. I suspect it is something related to dependencies.
It has crashed for me a couple of times before, It usually becomes unresponsive when I ask it to do too many things at once too fast. Like when i open up the text in the triggers and I try to click on it immediately, it freezes up for the next 20-40 seconds or so before becoming responsive again. I have learned to let stuff load in data and triggers or terrain or anywhere for that matter, to let it finish loading then start doing stuff or it will freeze lol.
It has also crashed when I move the scrap lift doodad sometimes and modify it's height. That doodad alone has crashed me bout 6 times at least. It helps me to also not have E-Mail open because it seems like E-mail and the editor over time gets so unworkable slow that I have to close E- mail (or anything for that matter) and restart the editor if I want to keep my sanity lol.
I believe it comes down to what kind of computer you have. The only reason why my old HP can handle the editor and the game is because it has a decant graphics card holding it together.
It could possibly be the fact that your computer is filling up with old no longer useful maps or just filling up with more information in general making it slower overall. But if you look at the size of the maps, they can take up allot of space, and it adds up when you have 20+ maps sitting around.
doesn't really crash for me i just get an occasional error message when i try to save saying it can't save because the directory isn't empty, but then it saves anyway...
The editor crashes a lot for me, usually bringing down Mozilla with it.

Havn't crashed for me!;D
It used to crash a bit at the beginning - but atm it didn't crashed for a while :x
It freezes every once in awhile and then I have to task manager exit it. Or it sometimes completely crashes. So, yes.
Mmmm, I receive a crash sometimes as well. There's gotta be a memory leak somewhere.

Most of my crashes are attributed to the text editor.
I'm guessing the leak is around there :P
NECRO
It crashes every few hours when I use it.
Makes it nearly impossible to do anything.

It doesn't crash for me. Only rarely when I try to close it after it was open for like many many hours.
It slows down like crazy over time, though...

It crashes about half the time when I try to save or test it.

@Kueken531: Go
No, it just happens with any map. Also, it's been running slower and slower :\

That happens to me like 40% of the time I try to save lol.
None of these issues ever happened to me.
