I have a structure with a search effect. It checks for nearby "red balls" as you can see on the picture below. When the red balls are close to the structure, the search effect destroys them and gives the player 100 minerals.
The damage effect that kills the red balls has an actor for the graphic. I have made that actor create a text actor, which is run every time the damage effect is used.
I am trying to make the text appear above the red balls when they are killed by the structure, but the text only appear above the structure itself.
Any idea how to change it so the text appear above the red balls?
There is no "Target" to select, only "Target Outer". No matter what term I choose the text always appear above the structure : /

What is the Hosting: Host - Subject field set to for your Text type actor?

I use the "Floating Text Minerals100" actor that is in the game. In that actor, the Host - Subject field is set to Actor "Floating Text Site"
You have anything in mind about it?
Check the Site (Mover) type actor associated with it. You may find you need to create the floating text site first.
