You need to make a Research type ability that uses a custom Upgrade which does nothing. You then have a Requirement for the ability that counts the upgrade.

Hello. I'm new to Starcraft 2 editor. I want to make Stukov to learn corrosive blast ability by researching it. How do I do this?
Well. First thing first.
Hello, and welcome to sc2mapster.
Things hasn't been what it used to be around here.
But I will try to answer your question.
Here is relatively easy way for you to do that.
1. Make a new custom ability [icon, cost, description, etc], call it whatever you want [I recommend "research corrosive blast"].
2. At stukov ability [the one you want to make must be researched first], make a condition to 'hide' the ability unless the one above is purchased.
3. Link "research corrosive blast" to any building or unit you want it to be purchased from.
