Hi I was looking at the model tutorial so I followed exactly the same. But the model won't change at all. It seems fine to me.
I tried the texture slot 'main' and 'main.diffuse' both but none of them worked.
I'm pretty sure that there are no typos. I looked up at the cutscene editor material page and just wrote the same. I looked up like 5 threads but I cant find why it doesn't works.
Also I have a problem with my perdition turret flame model event. I made a attack model actor and connected successfully and setting tint colors etc works perfectly fine. The problem is that I wan't to make it a little bit transparent. So I made a event 'Actor creation' into 'Set opacity'. But it was still opaque. I thought set opacity value wasn't low enough so I set it to zero. And still nothing changed. What could be the problem?
If in doubt use the full name for both the prefix and trigger on substring. How is your texture under the Textures data type set up and your actor events?
For the flame are you using a Model actor or an Action actor?

The texture field is the second screenshot I uploaded. Though for more detail, flags are checked at Unify with model and all other things except name is default. And I added a acter creation event with a Texture Set By ID action.
I'm using a model actor type. To my experience action type actors doesn't change the tint color of the model so I just attached a new made model actor instead of Generic Attack Model.
Are you testing the map or just looking in the editor? To get texture swaps to show in the editor you need to set a timer on actor creation and when the timer expires do the texture swap.
So you have altered the launch model actor used by your Action actor? You changed the inherited properties flag to not include opacity?

Try under your model also setting it to main.diffuse?
One question. Why under your texture do you have the file set to the exact same texture as the one you want to replace? The texture under the Textures data type is used to replace the default model texture when texture swapping.
Let us recap how your actors are set up. You are using an Action actor that uses a Model actor for the launch model? You are using what actor event to start the opacity change and over what time scale?

So your texture swap problems are fixed?
Check the flags on both actors.

Well until you have the problem sorted out use a bright and easy to spot texture like aciddeath2.

I do not know enough about .dds format files to easily be able to tell you the problem. Try asking in the Artists Tavern forum.

Short for recapitulate (summarize and state again the main points of).
So your tinting is working fine?
Tried changing the model used to something that can definitely be hidden like a marine? Some visual effects of models are not affected by opacity.

The error looks like it could be a token is left blank in the actor events for your Missile (Nova Coop).
