But if i change the marine model ingame to the new one the unit is stuck in the 'walk animation' instead of just displaying the 'stand animation'.
In the thread a few solutions were already named like clearing the 'required animations' tab. Unfortunately this doesn't work out for me and even after testing around a bit i wasn't able to find the problem.
Can someone please tell me what i'm still doing wrong? Or can someone upload a map where the imported marine models are working on the marine unit?
Well, ich checked the model in the cutscene editor and compared it to the normal marine model. Unfortunately i wasn't able to find any diffrences, that's why i still don't have any solution for the animation problem.
Edit: Besides i don't have any experience working with the cutscene editor. Could you maybe try to get the marine model working by yourself in a map file and send me the file afterwards, so that i can that a look at what you changed?
I think the event tab was the solution. I deleted a line which caused the unlimited 'cover' animation playing because the marine depending on the fact that the marine used no shield.
All in all i don't really understand what i did there but it seems to work. ^^

Hey there,
i just downloaded the 'marine pack' of Ghostnova's Mods: https://www.sc2mapster.com/projects/ghostnovas-mods/images

Check the actor events against the animations the model has in the cutscene editor.

The values in the cutscene editor look good to me so far. Unfortunately i don't really know what you mean with 'actor events'.
Maybe that's why i can'tget it working with the cutscene editor.
Could you maybe try to get it working by yourself?
So you using this for a cutscene or a Unit type actor?

I want to replace the model of the unit 'son of Korhal' with a new one from GhostNova's pack.
The original unit uses the same model as the 'War Pig' marines. I want to give it the new model named 'marine default' from the pack.
So all in all i don't want to use it for a cutscene but for a unit.
That's why i was a bit confused that you said that the solution is in the cutscene editor. ^^
But since this is not the purpose of the model, do you anyway know why this animation problem occurs?
The cutscene editor can be used to view what animations the model has for the actors to play. Probably some affix issue with the stand animations.
