The reason your tentacle is not attacking all targets is that the invisible missile actors are used to change the hosting of the tentacle attachment from the unit to the missile. As you are launching all missiles at once with only one tentacle that can be attached only one of the missiles is getting it while the other two are left with nothing. You would have to do a sequential attack like the mutalisk weapon if you want to only use one tentacle.
To add models to other actors use a Model type actor, set the model from the Models data type under the Art: Model field, set the Hosting: Host - Subject field to the actor you want to host the model on, add a SOp(Attachment) and SOp(Local Offset) site operation actors in the Hosting: Host Site Operations - Operations field and then under the actor events Add a Unit Birth event set to your unit that uses a Create action.

So I have to add different models to each actors under the model type? And I have to create a duplicate of the tentacle model for each actors to behave also with attachments and ubit birth?
Well I connected the Attack actors to each missiles. And I found some actors which has a model type. But they seem they're not the ones your talking about.
here. These weren't connected with the unit spine crawler but I just searched "Spine Crawler" at the actor field and found these. They had some strange death bla bla model and doesn't look right to me.
And I can't find any tentacle models for spine crawler. All I can find is a model named spine lash that is separately has an actor etc. I'm not sure this is the right one.
I'm very confused.. There are no models attached to the spine crawler and I just duplicated spine lash actors in case that this is the right one then I skimmed through the event of spine lash and found that there is a separate effect of it's own.
https://imgur.com/h6BPLDS look. Does this mean spine lash isn't the one that belongs to the spine crawler? If not where is it?
I am saying to create your own Model type actors and attach them to your spine crawler Unit actor. One does not already exist because you must make it.
Ragdoll death models are models that have some collision physics with the terrain and are typically used for death by large explosions.
When looking to fill the Art: Model field just use tentacle as a search word. I recommend the Leviathan Tentacle or Zerus Alien Tree Viper.
The spine lash tentacle belongs to the infestor unit.

I can't find any unit type actor of a spine crawler except the one I uploaded above. If you're talking about it, how do I connect two actors? What route do I have to connect?
So after I somehow attach my model actors to the unit actor I have to connect 3 other tentacle models to Art:Model field each?
For a start that is the spine crawler unit and not the Unit type actor used to give the unit an appearance. As mentioned in post #21 you must create a Model type actor. Set the model from the Models data type under the Art: Model field, set the Hosting: Host - Subject field to the actor you want to host the model on (in this case the Unit actor for your spine crawler), add a SOp(Attachment) and SOp(Local Offset) site operation actors in the Hosting: Host Site Operations - Operations field and then under the actor events Add a Unit Birth event set to your unit that uses a Create action.
Each attached Model type actor will be a separate tentacle. The Art: Model field determines what model is used for the actor (in this case you are using tentacles).

I nailed the part of making tentacle unit actors and connecting them with separate models and filling the host subject field. But I have a problem at the adding attachments and local offset part. I don't know this is kind of a bug or something but some bar is blocking the tech tree/list that I can't select anything. Another thing uncomfortable just to pass is at the Event:Events field, I changed all source of the unit type actor that I just created into spine crawler's. I applied it and checked it again in case I didn't changed it correctly. But the events I changed are displayed as red words as if it has an error.
Here's a screenshot compilation of the tentacle work
There are site operation actors called SOp (Attachment) and SOp (Local Offset). These actors once set up go in the Hosting: Host Site Operations - Operations field. The SOp (Attachment) actor determines on what attachment point on the host model (use the cutscene editor to view) your attachment is anchored while the SOp (Local Offset) moves the attached actor relative to where it is anchored in the x/y/z direction. For the attachment you can use the already existing one called SOpAttachOrigin.
The SOps menu being blocked by bars is a known bug and can be fixed by enabling the Combine Structure Values option again (one of the only times it is useful).
the colouration is just how the events look. Default events of the parent are in grey, stuff modified from the parent is in red and new stuff is in green.

Ok, I added the SOpAttachOrigin to the host operation. But what local offset do I have to add? There are so many offsets for other units but I don't exactly know what values they have. So I just added a Lurker offset since it looked like the offsets are 0.
as a result, the spine crawler got nuts. It's unit icon changed to the one of tentacles and a small additional tentacle was created as previously. Also the tentacles added doesn't act.
I realized that I set the tentacle actor as a unit not a model and just connected with the leviathan tentacle model. So I changed it to model type actors. And I just added a local offset of spine crawler and I didn't changed anything at all.
edit: oops accidentally added two local offset screenshot. Just ignore it.
Test result: Spine crawler went back as usual. Just one tentacle and other invisible tentacles. https://imgur.com/fpXmFRb
Well the tentacle model wouldnt be connected with no create event so its connected somehow but maybe it could be connected to the wrong actor? I'll check that when I come home. If I do I'll send you the pic
I would like to see the hosting fields of your Model type actor tentacles. Especially the Hosting: Host - Subject and Hosting: Site Operations - Operations fields.
I cannot see anything wrong but because you changed the actor type of your tentacle actors it could have causes a problem. I am asking you to please create new Model type actors (not dupe or copy) and set the individual fields.
Also is your SOp (Local Offset) >0? If it is then you will be able to see your actor in case it is hidden behind the unit actor.

There is a type of actor called Model, Use this for stuff attached to Unit type actors. Yes you will need a separate tentacle for each missile.

Create your own local offsets to move the tentacles to a position that looks good.
Lets see the actor events for your Model type actor. Also a picture of the Hosting: Hosted Attachments + fields.
The tentacle falling off and the wireframe image being messed up indicates you have done something to your Unit type actor.

Currently your offset is set to 0 so all tentacles would be placed on top of each other. I assume your Model actor has actor events for creating it?
