I ran into a problem using two unit models for my mod. The problem is that I can't select the unit when it is using the models. After looking forever I found the cause of the problem: The two models I was using lacked HitTestTight and HitTestFuzzy. Now my question is how the hell do I add these to the model and can I do it without getting a modeling editing software.
Even if someone could fix the models for me that would be fantastic, I have a link to them below.
Make a model under the Models data type, set it to the HitTestSphere model. Make a Model type actor and under the Events fields make it created by a Unit Birth event linked to the unit you made. Under the host subject set it to the actor used by your unit and give it the SOpOrigin SOp under the Site Operations field for hosting. Then adjust the actor scale as needed for hit detection.

Everything is clear except for "under the Events fields make it created by a Unit Birth event linked to the unit you made." I don't know how to make it created by a unit birth event specifically linking to my siege tank.
(I use Detail View) What I see when I attempt to do this is at the top a (Basic) Event: Events tab, which is where I assume you want me to go.
I see the actor creation field with "AnimBracketStart BSD Birth Stand Death" as the default, but I don't know what to change it to.
Open the window for the events by double clicking the Event: Events - Target/Terms/Send fields and then right click the white bit (left part of the window) and select Add Event. This will produce a new little yellow flag (the event) linked to a clapper (the action). Left click the Event you just made and select the Unit Birth Message Type in the right part of the window and then your siege tank under the Source Name. For the action set the Message Type to create, no further changes are needed.

Well, I attempted to do this, but no dice. Sorry for having to ask anything more of you, but since I am so bad with models and actors in the editor, I need you to explain how to do the entire process of adding the HitTestSphere model as a Model actor attachment step by step like I don't know what anything in the editor does.
I will also point out that I haven't created a new unit or actor, I am simply replacing the model of the vanilla Siege Tank with the new model.
Go to the Models data type. Make a new model (do I need to tell you how to do that?) and select the Art: Model field, set it to the HitTestSphere model found under the WoL campaign dependencies. Make a new Model type actor, set the Art: Model to your created model, the Event: Events+ field to what I said in post #6 except the Source Name is set to the normal siege tank. Set Hosting: Host - Subject to the Unit actor of the Siege Tank. Set Hosting: Host Site Operations - Operations to SOpAttachOrigin (note Combine Structure Values must be enabled for this step). Finally adjust the Art: Scale field as needed.

Add the HitTestSphere model as a Model actor attachment.

Can you go into more detail about how to do it? I have been trying to do this for a while but I haven't figured out how.

I don't know what I did to screw it up the first time, but doing the process all over again made the thing work correctly like it should.
Thank you so much for the help!
