I would like to modify Banshee so that it can attack like Phoenix. But i couldn't make it though i modified settings related to Banshee; Turret, Actor, Weapon and so on. It doesn't attack as i intended(It just spreads missiles!). I really cannot figure out what modification allows Banshee to attack a target facing it. Should i investigate more how Phoenix's weapon works? Or is there any hidden data i still haven't found? I synchronized Weapon setting same to Ion cannon and added a turret to Backlash missile and actors transcribed from Phoenix(SOp,turret).
Sorry for my bad english but it would be great pleasure if i could get help from you.
Thank you very much. For your favour I finally found Banshee model is lack of Turret Z attachment point, whereas Phoenix model has. But then could i add attachment point manually then? I'm checking Banshee turret actor which i added and found this turret actor has Attachment :turret yaw query. As its default was Turret Z, i modified it into another attachment point like Origin, centre, overhead. But meseems it doesn't work as i hardly understand it. Even not knowing why it has index. I'll keep trying it.
Turrets are mechanically special. This is because they have to feedback to model bones and such for correct animation. I am quite certain you cannot promote any old attachment point to an operational turret.
You might be able to simulate a turret though, especially since you want the whole model to physically rotate (not a part of it). One can specify with site ops rotational and physical offsets. One can also dynamically turn models in response to various things, such as done by Dr Super Evil for his various monstrous composite creations. I am sure one could simulate a phoenix like rotation using such mechanics even if it ends up being the banshee actor itself is a dummy model with the banshee model attached to it that rotates as required.
Easiest method is to have a 0 opacity phoenix as your Unit actor and then have a Model actor of your banshee as an attachment. Just copy and paste the events to the model actor and make the host subject of the Action actor the attachment.

just a question - have you tried to make the 'weapon' setting to moveable?
Field Banshee - Backlash Rockets (Basic) Weapon: Allowed Movement^ Moving
it's normally set to "Slowing". That might do it.
EDIT: Sorry - nope that wont work, tried it and it still required me to click "attack" to fire the weapon.
Of course i did. I modified Weapon setting to movable(i referred Phoenix-Ion Cannon). But it only allowed Banshee to spread missiles, not like Phoenix :(
Modification you said does not make Banshee to attack a target facing it.
EDIT : Like Imperial good said, Phoenix has Turret Z attachment point but so does not Banshee. And i also tried to set Banshee Turret to refer another attachment point not Turret Z but Origin, centre, overhead. Of course it ended in failure. So i gave up for now. Thank you for your favour.
- - - - but its functional like the banshee that can fire while moving. your holding out for what direction the model itself is facing even thought 'how' it works is exactly the same? O~k~...

Korean. Interesting in MOD.
Phoenix model has turret Z attachment. Banshee model seems to lack such an attachment point. I do not think they are mechanically interchangeable.

I'm so sorry to response late. I will modify so like you told me. Thank you very much.

Not to brag but "GOT IT" hahaha.. my steps:
1. duplicate the Turret of the phoenix (did this just to keep them separate in case of issues)
2. add the duplicated turret onto the banshee under weapons
Field Banshee (Basic) Combat: Weapons +
don't change the "weapon" just the "turret" to ^that.
3. Go to the weapon itself and change the following data:
Field Banshee - Backlash Rockets
(Basic) Stats: Arc 4.9987
(Basic) Weapon: Allowed Movement^ Moving
(Basic) Weapon: Legacy Options^ + Face Target While In Cooldown
(Basic) Weapon: Options^ + Can Initiate Attack, Linked Cooldown, Require Enabled Attack Ability
this will make the banshee fire the weapons while in "move" and not only in "A-move".
Modification you said does not make Banshee to attack a target facing it.
