Ive got the Stank (really bad ace looking ultralisk) from the Left2Die Mod (mod) and the Left2Die Units (mod). The Units mod has the actors, effects, behaviors etc. The Mod mod is where I got the models and dds files. I am aware that there is a specific order of how to transfer a unit from one map to another. I want to transfer the Stank to my Lunar Axis of Chaos map. As I have tried copy/paste, it does not work lol. I right click and there is no export as I had hoped. The only thing that DID copy paste over is the unit, with just his movers.
I looked on other websites and youtube but nothing states anything clearly.
Where do I start? What do I click on? in what order?
left2diemod>click unit> transfer to Axis map.. (lol if only it was that easy).
LOL .. I have just answered THIS in our team forum.

Hi DarcZaFire,
if you copy all linked data elements between two uses of the save button (autosave disabled!), there is no certain order for copying the elements from one map/mod to another. You can do this best(?) in xml view ... but do not copy a too large amount of data at once: The clipboard can only handle up to 65K characters at once.
I have learned this the hard way o.O
I forgot to add: Do not use the undo function during this process either or you will stumble upon another glitch of the editor: the undo function uses the clipboard limit too. More than 65K undo characters will corrupt you work.
The game can not handle too many mods that contains custom data.
If you only need a small fraction of a mod (especially of a mod with custom assets) it is better to copy&paste the needed parts. Or you will risk long needless loading times.
I copied all of this over but it still looks the same. including only the movers and 3 basic abilities that have red and blue square images divided diagonally..
oook... is there anything I should know about this?
"Errors occurred while parsing XML. Continue without committing XML?
I thought maybe it had to do with sticking to alphabetical order... that this message would only come up if I had been off. I know that removing my last xml addition will make my xml safe again, but I want to know, even though my xml is in alphabetical order, Why am I still getting this message?

You need to copy everything the unit uses, not just the Units data type entry.

Does the order matter, will it rearrange itself?? Can I just paste all the xml from left2die to the top of the "models" tab of my Axis map?
IS there somewhere that I can see all the xml connected to a specific unit?

The linked window at the bottom left. Shows a tree of everything that the unit is connected to.
