I need help changing the colors for protoss structures. I know you have to do it in the actors, but it doesn't seem to work for me. The pylon color is fine, because it is the power itself, but the other buildings are the power users. Does this have to do with the power up and power down actors? How would I change the colors of these buildings?
Don't understand exactly what you want to do but to change color you have to go to the main actor of the unit (buildings are a type of units) then look for the field "Events +", open it and add a new event, 1st you choose when to activate it, if you want it from the creation of the unit chose "Unit Birth - Unit Name(ex: Nexus)", after that change the term, by default, "Action Impact" to one of this:
Set Tint Color for global color of the unit.
Set Team Color (its the player color) separated in 2 colors the diffuse and the emissive.
Choose colors you want, white = no color HDR (High Dynamic Range) is the simulated emmision of light.
What I am trying to say is that I did do that, but it didn't work. The nexus and pylon changes color for me, because they don't use power. The power using structures, such as a gateway, cannot change color using what u said. Thanks but, I need more help with that.
Will try to make a map and upload it here so you can see it, I will edit the post in 5min +-.
Edit: The problem is that there are 2 events that changes the color of that buildings, when they become powered or unpowered.
To fix it you have to erase that events or change the colors they use.
It worked out for me, thanks for the help.
But then again, I can't find where the 2 events are in any other building, such as a forge, and I found those events only inside the gateway.
There is another actor that it's activated with the same events, same mechanics, but not the main actor of the building it's called "Unpowered Anim". It have 6 events that tints didn't checked what each does, just erased them.

Oh, only checked gateway will check forge.

You can check it in the attached map "Red Forge".

Edit: Ok yeah, everything worked out for me, but the only protoss structure that doesn't seem to change color is the robotics facility.
