Hi, im having trouble with adding a status bar above the model of hunter seeker missile
i want it to show a countdown for a particular behavior
the status bar im talking about is like the "charge up" bar above a battlecruiser when it uses yamato gun
just fyi, im using a regular unit like a marine, but replacing the model with the hunter seeker missile model
i also tried to enable the status bar flags in its actor
Its possible. I'm not at the editor right now so I can't look it up. However, go to your behavior and go to 'Display Countdown' make sure its enabled. If that doesn't show the countdown correctly, make a dummy behavior to apply whenever the seeker uses its behavior and make the duration that long then add the display countdown.
Hi, i realize the problem, i have set the unit flag to "unselectable" because i dont want players to be able to select the unit
but once i do that, the countdown status bar would NOT SHOW
So, any idea how to add the countdown status bar without making the unit selectable?
It basically allows the model to be clicked with the mouse. Technically, the unit is still selectable, so if you would store it in a control group or select it via trigger, that would still work, just mouse clicks on the model are not registered anymore.

Try making the unit selectable, but uncheck the Allow Hit Test Model Flag on the actor.
