Hey, how would i go about creating an ability, in which a group of miners start "digging" at a source point, and finish at an end point. In short what i need help with is how would i make the cost and time increase depending on the distance between the entrance and exit, but that if more miners are set to work on a tunnel the time it takes will decrease. A trigger solution would work just as fine
You can ... I have seen an example of it done using the sewer pipe models .... but it requires you to do specific things with the pathing tools.... that can you will not be-able to have normal pathing above the tunnel's pathing....
SC2 does not Support MULTI-Level-Pathing...... woulda been nice but they didnt do it..... you could creatively force the units to a specific height on certain occasions to make it look right... but it would be way more trouble then its worth
For the multiple miners reducing the build time simply use a Buildable ability eg as used by SCV - Advanced Construction and the associated story mode tech.

do you want an actual hole in the ground? cuz I doubt thats possible.
Its possible to do a Hole on the Ground using the Data Editor.
