1. Seems it just uses the destination of the Rally ability of the specified unit.
2. Once and then free to idle. You notice it is used by the Locust units of the Swarm Host.
3. A rally is a location that orders newly trained units to go to and can be a different location to where the host unit is moving. Once trained the units use the move command to get to the rally. A move command uses the Move ability to tell the unit to use its mover to head towards the destination via the shortest pathable route. A scan move command requires the Attack ability and is actually classified as the unit using the Attack ability while moving. Although units without the Move ability can be known as using scan move they are immobile.
Modify Unit Effect: The "Rally Unit" field:
This causes the modified target unit to move towards the unit specified as the "Rally Unit"
1. Does it also cause the modified unit to continue to follow the Rally Unit around indefinitely like a follow unit command?
2. Does the modified unit return to the rally unit after acquired combat? - or does it only move to the Rally Unit only once and is then free to idle.
3. What is the difference between a rally, a move command, a scan move command? They seem identical
My tests are very inconclusive. If you know the answer, please tell.
