Hey, I don't know if this is the correct place for this question, if it isn't, sorry.
I'm trying to figure out how to give a unit increased stats, like health, damage, etc whenever he gets a certain amount of kills, that isn't linked with levels. I thought I found something like this in the data editor, but when I tested it out it didn't do anything.
I'm trying to figure this out as well just haven't gotten around to it yet.
But it has to be along the lines of On kill give unit a permanent behavior.
Not sure what is the best way to detect on kill part.
there exists a validator for the kill counter on a unit. if you really like to have a data only solution you need to give every killable unit a behaviour with fatal damage response and unit set to attacker. the handled effect is a switch effect with your kill counter validator and the different effects.

i would recommend to use triggers.
Thanks, I guess using triggers would be easier. If you don't mind me asking since the thread is already made, a way to create that using triggers?
