I'm certain this is easy to do but I'm just not seeing it in the editor. Added the same weapon three times but doesn't seem to have any effect and the weapon flags don't seem to affect this either.
even if you equip the same weapon 3 times they all share the same cool downs and such... you need to create 3 different weapons... different ID's and actors....

You need to make a new search area effect. Set the max thargets to 3. Can't remember most of the details but you should be able to work it out.
He's on the right track. Create a Search Area effect, set the maximum targets to 3. Set the search effect to fire the effect the weapon fires. Then set the weapon effect to the search effect.

There's no way you can get two waepons that are very similar to fire at different targets.
What you can do is use the Search Effect:
Say u want it to attack 3 units at a time,
set unit count to 3,
do ur flags,etc etc,
when u reach target sort,
make request count 3 and percentage count 1
request count is how many units to target sort.
finally add TSrandom

Or make another weapon and remove the flag Can Only Fire At Attack Target
