hey guys, have any of yall played Panda from warcraft 3? he had an ultimate ability that allowed him to split up into 3 mini pandas, then when the duration was over panda would merge back into his original form providing that at least 1 of the mini pandas survived for the duration.
The problems i am having is that
1) I have no idea how to carry over the experience these mini pandas made during the time they were available ( so when the panda hero comes back he gets the experience for all the kills the mini panda made.
2) of the 3 mini pandas, when the duration was over, only atleast 1 needed to survive to keep the hero alive
3) making the hero appear where the healthest mini panda remains as the duration of the mini pandas are up.
You've asked a hard question, if they knew the answer they would have given it to you, but they don't. instead they gave you an idea that might help and bumped your thread.
Good luck with that project, its gonna take a lot of data work, that I have no clue how to accomplish.

You'd have to use morphing actors and create/destroy actors.
I'd suggest using triggers in combination with the data editor.

if i knew how to make this ability with triggers and data editor would have i asked?
if i new what u meant with morphing actors i would have also done that too.

i agree , the ability is too hard.. going to scrap this idea .
