Sorry for flooding the forum. So many questions and I don't where else to find answears : /
I have a MOD-file I've worked on for some months now. I want the file to work with the new HoTS depndencies, so I can use all the new content in them.
I am afraid that things might stop working or that data gets lost. When I add the dependencies Swarm (MOD) & Swarm (Campaign) to the MOD-file, it says it will collide with the current WoL dependencies.
Remove?
Replace?
What is the "correct" way to include HoTS content into a WoL MOD-file, without messing anything up?
If I want to keep my current content in the MOD-file PLUS add the new HoTS stuff, the MOD file shall include Liberty Mod, Liberty Campaign, Swarm Mod & Swarm Campaign?
Swarm is dependant on liberty, and Swarm campaign is dependant on liberty campaign.
Swarm Multi is dependant on Swarm Mod which is NOT dependant on liberty Multi.
But regardless it's a PAIN IN THE ASS, to use Swarm Campaign.
It really is...you will see why.
Somebody needs to Make a Modfile that makes using Swarm Campaign not such a pain in the ass.
Save a copy and go nuts testing! My understanding is that the only way you will break Blizzards policy is if you copy stuff (doodads, spells) out of the Hots campaign into your own mod. The thinking behind this is that people who have not paid for Hots should not be able to access it. Doing this will terminate you account.
I think you should be able to replace WoL with Hots without any hiccups. Just make a backup first!

@Kabelkorven: Go
It's a warning, click proceed anyway or whatever it's called.
If there IS a conflict it will tell you which ones, and you will have to remove those conflict and fix them later.

Not replace anything?

Isn't it against blizzards terms to have hots dependencies in mods? :/ or am I misunderstanding their clause?
