Using the M3 Importer/Exporter provided through SC2Mapster, I'm now trying to export my new model but it's saying I need to select the skin, this is the actual message I'm receiving:
EDIT: Just to be sure I'm doing everything right, this is what I've done so far:
1. Imported both the Marauder and Shield models
2. Placed the shield on the marauder's arm
3. Selected both objects and grouped them
4. Attempted export
I thought it was possible to attach models to other models inside the editor?
In that case you should be able to attach the shield to the marauder arm without having to rebuild the model yourself. Just don't ask me how it's done because I have no idea ;)
How is this done?
@Zurom: Go You need to create a new marauder model with shield in 3dsmax and only after that you can work with data .

Hmm, I never thought about that. I wouldn't know where to start either :P. Anyone care to elaborate? :)

idk about in the edtior, but if you just want to attach it to a attachment point then you can use a trigger. Action: attach model.
