In my map I want a mothership based unit to float from point A to Point B, I want this motherships to target any nearby enemy unit and attack, but i dont want the mother ship to stop to finish them off, only shoot at nearby units while it passes them. And aquire new targets when it loses attack range of the previous unit that was being shot at.
This is a simple fix realy... you can open your unit in the data editor. Scroll down to the weapons and klick on the weapon you want to change. Now as not to confuse things, klick the "Show Table View" button if you dont see the information as a list on the right hand of the screen.
Close to the bottom (or the top depending on how youre sorting it) is a "Weapon - Allowed Movement" Option, Modify its value to "Moving"
There, now the weapon should fire at things while the unit is just moving past them... as long as they are hostile that is and the weapon is made right.
