I've created an ability that is basically a re-creation of Death Grip from WoW, which I was making for the WDE #12. The problem I'm having is getting an Actor Beam to occur between the caster and the targeted unit. I don't know what events are required to make a connection between the two units. Any help is welcome, thanks.
What I do is create the Beam at Effect.Start, "At target". For Launch and Impact Host fill in _Unit and Scope Target/Scope Caster respectivelly. Works fine.
Hmm, unless I'm not understanding you fully, that didn't work. I tried adding the event and changed the launch to scope/caster and impact to scope/target. Is there something else I missed?
