Introduction
I want to make a unit seem like it is jumping somewhere. I can get the ability and the raise and lower effects to work.
Problem
I can't seem to figure out how to apply force to the unit itself. The force effect will work, but it will work in the opposite direction that I want it to, i.e. It targets a point and gets pushed away from it. Also, even if I set the Effect: Amount to 300, the caster doesn't move much.
Attempted Solutions
Fiddling with the Target: Location + and Unit: Unit + (If this should work, what should I set them to?)
Perhaps the Apply Force effect is not appropriate for this situation?
As the Apply Force effect cannot push stuff past impassable terrain maybe.
You can set the direction by having possitive or nagative amounts of force. To push stuff further you need a Create Persistent effect or a buff. If you use a buff you must use the one field to determine the direction of origin (read wiki) else it always applies to the north of the map.

for a jump you can use the Launch Missile effect (If you are using the Arcade Beta Editor), there is a tutorial on it in General Chat I think. Otherwise, if its not urgent, you could just wait for 1.5 to hit so that you can use the launch missile effect to do it.

Hmm that makes sense as to how those zergling upgrades do it in the HOTS vids.

I couldn't find the tutorial, so I'll just use the Dr's cure. (See what I did there?)

This is what I was talking about :)
Thanks, I'll go ahead and do that, then.
