Hi. I attached the medic_healing loop sound to an effect that is a mofify unit effect. The effect is attached to an effect-target ability that is supposed to heal your unit. Now i first tried to attach the sound to the healing (action) actor in Launch Assests - Sound and it didn't worked. The sound kept playing no matter what. Non stop. Then i created a different actor just for the sound. A sound actor. There i set the events to be
Effect.RepairStationRepairEffect.Start
At Caster
Create
Effect.RepairStationRepairEffect.Stop
At Caster
Destroy
but then when i did this, the sound didn't even started. So i removed the effect stop destroy event and it worked again but just like the first time it didn't stop playing. It keep going and going even when the unit was fully healed. What should i do. What do u recommend me to do?
RepairEffect and RepairStationRepairEffect are two different effect IDs. Change the event for the Destroy message to Effect.RepairStationRepairEffect.Stop to simply Effect.RepairEffect.Stop. As it is, the sound is only destroyed upon the ending of an effect different from the one that created it.
Change the events to be more like the channeled abilities. Change the events to Abil.<yourability>.SourceChannelStart and Abil.<yourability>.SourceChannelStop for the Create and Destroy effects, respectively.

Yeah my mistake but no, i used the sameone on both of them.
Try removing the At Caster term for the destroy event.
Is the ability channeled like the Medic's healing ability or is it a one-time health boost?

The ability works in a similar way of the medic's healing ability and science vessel ability.
