Actors have been bugging me a lot. Everytime i want to create an attack event i have to do it 2 times in order for it to finally work i dont get it. Anyway does someone really knows how on earth and heaven can i make for units like diamondback, dragoon and lasertank to launch an ability in the same visual manner that they do when launching the weapon. Is the same attack only is now an ability and not a weapon. Ive tried everything for example that the diamondback uses his rail gun in the ability in the same way he does when he uses it as weapon. Same with dragoon and laser tank. Dragoon for example opens up his missile compartment and then launches the photon missile. This action doesnt happen when i use the weapons as abilities. The attack simply comes out of his middile body and not in the same manner as it does when is launch as a weapon. Ive tried everything god knows. Ive tried units,turrets, movers, effects, actors, models, mixing them up, switching them up, and still havent found those little effects that the unit does when launching the attack. I think there is simply no way of using them but it cant be. Anyway your help would be really appreactiated.

Depends what triggers the animation. Just look at the actors in some of my demo maps to see just how complex actors can get.
Just play the attack animation. Use the Ability event when using blah ability at Source Cast Start to use the Animation Bracket Start action.
Some actors have different animation names. Look them up in the cutscene editor.
The attacks use the Weapon Start event.
