Recently I came upon a tutorial teaching how to make buildings pathable inside for units by change the foot print (you can find the tutorial HERE ) Is it possible to make the building impossible to shoot through as well? Currently If i put a ranged unit inside he can attack out through the walls. I'd like to prevent that and only allow attacking through the opening.
I was thinking disabling sight with those areas. By that I mean the only vision you have is through the entrance. I'm not entirely sure if its possible with just data.

you can make a trigger to reduce vision across the area.

There seems to be some additional support for stuff like this in 1.5
Have you seen Renee's thread about shrubs?
No can't say I did see that but I'm not on 1.5 but I can see if there is a work around.
