What i am trying to do is make a projectile or even a unit of some sort that is fired from a unit that does not have an end point. An example of this would be a Marauder attacking and having its Gernade not stop when it hit the 1st unit but continue on till it timed out. I dont know if this is possible or not. I was even thinking of making something like a interceptor launch where the unit does not turn and has a timed life for say 5 seconds. Thoughts?
You mean like the SS arcade projectiles from the WOTL campaign?
All projectiles are units...
You need a non guidance driver for your missile then and a proc on proximity system. There are tutorials for colliding projectiles in the tutorials forum.

Be sure to set a reasonable expiry time to the projectile. You do not want them all piling up at some corner of the map wasting CPU time.
