What should i do to remove the effect of shield restoring ability of the Psi Shield for example and just leave it with the ability to support damage. Also how do i modify the amount of damage taken by the shield? Please help.

Regarding shields, you can edit some values on Data>Unit (search desired unit)>Stats.
f it's liked to an ability or you want to create some kind of mechanic regarding shields, possibly using behaviors is the key.

Ok. Thanks. Well I'm using this shield ability called Psi Shield on my hero unit. This ability called Psi Shield includes a buff that makes your hero unit regenerate his shield to the max level. I don't want this thing to happen. I just want the shield to be able to help the unit hold damage but i don't want the shield to regenerates the units shield to its full capacity. Better now? :)
So what I'm understanding here is that there is no way to do that because every shield when u use it restores your shield to its full? If thats the case then np.

Sounds like you should base your ability off of the immortals barrier ability. It absorbs damage without replenishing shields.
If you are dead set on using the psi shield from tosh then I think there is probably a modify unit effect involved which replenishes the shields. Basically the modify unit effect will have a modify shields fraction field which will probably be set to 1, you'll want to change this to 0 so that it replenishes no shields at all, though then the ability will effectively do nothing, if you want it so it replenishes some shields then change the vital change shield field (not fraction) to be however much shielding your want to be restored when the ability is used. All of this would be in the data editor under the effects tab.

How is this ability set up? You want it to increase the maximum shield without increasing the current?
