I'm having an issue with a custom ability where when my unit is not in range to cast this targeted ability on an opponent, he wont move to the be in range, it just throws the default error when its not in range. But is there a flag or validator or something I'm missing that makes it so the unit wont move to be in range?
It doesn't have any flags on it :/ just double checked that
Edit: It was an issue with one of the effects, I just redid one of them and it took care of that, I'm not sure what it was but I checked the flags on the effects and behaviors and they seemed fine as well.
Sorry to double post, but since I edited that and reattached all the ability parts I was wrong, its still broken.
If hes in range he casts the ability fine, but if not he wont do anything... I checked the behavior, effects, and ability flags and such.. but I don't see anything.
EDIT: Just found something out if it helps; If he is out of range but within a certain range, he will move to be in range but if he is too far out the cursor wont even highlight the target unit.

Remove "transient" from the ability's flags.
