After finally adding the leveling effects to my heroes I decided I wanted to include a small feature where the model I used as an effect would be shaded reddish in color for the evil forces in my map.
Basically all I need to know is can you use the color field under the model tab to shade the model to a desired color. OR do you actually need to edit the model using one of those modelling programs I have no idea how to use.
I have another problem. I need to tint the color of the wraith's burst laser although it doesn't appear to be possible. I know how to tint projectiles, I've done it with others. But for some reason the actor isn't liking it too much. Can someone verify that it isn't possible?

Some models indeed cannot be tinted
Tinting actors is most of the time more like multiplying color on the current color. You don't really change the base color.
