the text is cut on the edge, the damage bonus is overlapping.
is there any way to change things in there? also i would like to add an icon for the purpose of "primary attribute" like back in WC3 - im able to give an attribute an icon but that wont show up in that interface.
would be nice to add a little icon like the weapon and armor ones or something like that - is that possible?
2. second problem is the damage "bonus" - thats actually from the agility, and its added behind the main damage as (30).
is there any way to change the main damage directly, and use that green amount as a real bonus like back in WC3 from items and stuff?
3. the damage system.. in wc3 we had like "20 - 24 damage" and on some maps i've seen in SC2 damage values like "5.593" etc..
is there any working way to make it wc3ish with xx - xx? if not, how do i achieve that x.xxx damage system?
i searched for these questions, but found nothing helpful. also asked in the IRC but noone answered :(
hope anyone's able to help here.
You mean damage range ? like 20-24 ? You can easily reproduce this effects however the data system does not handle easy display for such things, you might better wait until blizzard dota to see if they have any updates for heroes and unit that way.

No, as of now not possible. Try to use lower damage values.

Maybe you could fake some dialog images to that location, that would probably be screwed up by the different resolutions, though. Hardcoded there is no way I know of.

You can use upgrades or catalog triggers to increase the base damage. In case the main attribute should increase this, you need to set the upgrade level/catalog value according to all attribute changes.

Random damage can be reproduced in the data (or trigger) editor, however there is no easy way to let it show up in the ui.

uhm okay, thanks for the answers.. too bad :/
hey.
i would like to use this old thread that i created to ask again about that attribute icon issue.
i saw that sotis handled it perfectly - but how? i simply cant make attribute icons to work..
any ideas or even one of the sotis coders able to give an hint on how they made it work?
Easy. The name of attributes is a text field. One line, but text. You can add an image to text.
So instead of calling your attribute "Agi", you call it "<img path="Assets\Textures\btn-ability-protoss-charge-color.dds"/>Agi"
You might need to adjust the size of the image.
@Kueken531: Go
Thanks for this :)
